Event Description:
As part of NARI Central VA’s ongoing efforts to promote professionalism as well as ethical, lawful and fair competition, please consider attendance at the DPOR public hearing regarding the transfer of the RRP (Lead-based paints Renovation, Repair and Painting Program) Regulations, to administration and enforcement by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
We intend to propose to DPOR that the state requirements include identification of pre-1978 remodeling projects, and evidence that the work areas have either been certified clear of lead-based paint, or that the contractor is RRP-certified to legally execute the work.
The public hearing is scheduled for July 14th, 10 AM at the DPOR offices:
